I couldn't be a writer without a strong love for reading! You can't always find the time to write, or the every present fear of the writer's block! (the horror!) But you can always find time to read! Especially with technology these days, with the works coming out on e-formats, it's virtually impossible to not find some avenue to read. And as a constant reader, I too have come across some favorites.

I do infact read outside of the YA genre, but I can't honestly call them Favorites! These are the books however that when I hear 'favorite' pop into my head. I can tell you where I was when I first spotted the book, where I was when I finished them. And even what music was playing on the radio during certain moments that fit perfectly with the story that may or may not have cried. These are the books that shape how I write and why I write. (And why I can't stop writing!!)
